For over 20 years, I’ve led the design, implementation, and management of critical infrastructure across strategic sectors such as airports, retail, manufacturing, finance, and government—delivering high-availability environments, operational resilience, and regulatory compliance.

At Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP), I directed 400+ projects across 14 national and international airports, managing a cumulative budget of $500M+ MXN, with a 97.5% compliance rate in scope, cost, and timeline. Highlights include:

Modernizing airport security with Avigilon video analytics, Velodyne LIDAR radars, FLIR thermal cameras, facial biometrics with Amazon Rekognition, and IoT sensors under LoRaWAN.

Integrating these into Dell PowerEdge XR2 edge computing with AWS IoT Core.

Outcomes: zero perimeter breaches, uninterrupted operations during the pandemic, 17% energy savings, and a 34% reduction in fuel-related incidents.

In retail, as head of technology infrastructure at C&A Mexico, I:

Migrated from VMware to Nutanix.

Optimized BCP/DRP strategies under ITIL and agile scalability.

Achieved 99.99% sustained uptime on core systems, reduced Oracle ERP RTO from 12h → 45 min, and delivered $1.8M MXN savings via license optimization and resource utilization.

In public safety, I led the deployment of 564 Smart Monitoring Points at Tlajomulco’s C4, integrating:

Multi-brand Hikvision thermal cameras, Genetec AutoVu LPRs, ShotSpotter acoustic sensors, and Cisco wireless backhaul.

Real-time analytics processed in AWS Wavelength with NVIDIA Metropolis, reducing false positives.

Results: 62% drop in property crimes and ISO 22301 certification, making it the first municipal C4 in Mexico with certified continuity.
